Nokia Space Networks business focuses on creating customized solutions and developing LTE and 5G commercial RAN, Cloud, and Core products for our customers operating in NTN. The NTN project is a Nokia co-operation with AST Space Mobile company that enables innovative, direct-to-mobile over-the-satellite communication in 3GPP LTE and 5G standard.

What you will learn and contribute to

  • Build and maintain lightweight CI environment (eg. Jenkins) for various software components

  • Develop tools and scripts to automate CI processes

  • Support development work environment

  • Instrumentation of build release process (Software Configuration Management)

You have:

  • A recent or future (Spring 2026) bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a similar subject

  • Solid coding skills in bash and python

  • Unix / Linux user knowledge

  • Linux administration experience

  • Knowledge of git, gerrit, gitlab

  • Experience with containers and virtualization (Docker, Kubernetes, Podman)

  • Networking basics - DNS and firewalls

  • Teamwork skills

  • Analytical thinking

Nice to have:

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and administration

  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration tools (like Jenkins)

  • Infrastructure as a Code with Ansible and Terraform

  • Previous co-op or internship experience with Nokia/Infinera is preferred.
