Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 + Annual Bonus + Sign-On Bonus $3K

About the Role

We're seeking a Quality Assurance Manager who thrives in a small-town, closeknit environment and is motivated to lead quality excellence at a highimpact metals and raw materials operation. Jamestown, ND is a very remote area, and this role is ideal for someone who values focus, autonomy, and a strong sense of community.

You'll lead our Quality Management System (QMS), ensure compliance with AS9100 standards, and champion continuous improvement across the plant. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence quality culture, develop people, and strengthen customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with AS9100 and internal standards.
  • Serve as the "voice of the customer" by addressing quality issues and driving rootcause analysis.
  • Mentor and develop Quality Engineers and Quality Assurance Representatives.
  • Oversee audits, inspection planning, metrics, and performance expectations.
  • Lead corrective actions, reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), and manage MRB activities.
  • Support Lean initiatives and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Partner with Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to achieve quality objectives.
  • Lead:
    • Quality planning
    • Customer/vendor claim tracking and trend analysis
    • Statistical process control
    • Internal/external AS9100 audits
    • Corrective & Preventative Action (CPAR) system
    • Training in quality, Lean, and safety

What You'll Bring

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering
  • Experience with AS9100, TQM, ISO/QS9000, and SPC
  • ISO Assessor Certification
  • 1+ year of management/supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ASQ Certification
  • AS9100 Lead Assessor Certification
  • 5+ years of Quality Assurance/Control experience
  • 3+ years of leadership or teambuilding experience
  • Training in strategic planning or team motivation
