WAGES AND BENEFITS

$23.00 per hour; Paid vacation time, sick time, plus nine paid holidays and three floating holidays; competitive health, dental, and vision insurance; Health Savings Account (HSA), and options for Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). FWS sponsors a retirement plan with 3% employer match and immediate vesting.

SCHEDULE

This position is regular, part-time, and will be working 25 hours per week. It is likely the position will expand to full-time to support agency wide priorities. If the position moves to full-time, the employee will have the following additional benefits offered: employer paid basic life insurance with the option for additional coverage paid by the employee, Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D), and long-term disability insurance (the employer pays the premiums for AD&D and long-term disability insurance).

Job Summary

FamilyWise is hiring a Training Coordinator to support the Training Institute's mission to deliver high-quality learning experiences that empower staff and partners within our MiiWrap, Circle of Parents, Parent Leadership and NEAR Science Curriculums. This position ensures smooth training operations, learner engagement, and compliance with curriculum standards.

Responsibilities



  • Coordinating all logistical aspects of training sessions, including scheduling, venue arrangements, technology setup, and materials preparation.
  • Managing registration processes and ensuring accurate attendance tracking.
  • Supporting virtual and in-person training delivery by troubleshooting technical issues on online learning platforms and assisting facilitators as needed.
  • Confirming venue arrangements and technology functionality prior to each training session.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for learners.
  • Developing and distributing training-related communications, including schedules, reminders, and updates.
  • Maintaining a positive learner experience by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Escalating complex or policy-related issues to the Training Manager.
  • Performing and overseeing accurate data entry and maintenance in the Learning Management System (LMS) and other tracking tools.
  • Generating reports on participation, completion rates, and evaluation results to support decision-making.
  • Ensuring data integrity and compliance with organizational and curriculum standards.
  • Assisting the Training Manager in reviewing and updating training materials to maintain relevance and accuracy.
  • Supporting training delivery and quality assurance processes by ensuring trainers and learners are prepared and have the resources needed for high-quality sessions.
  • Documenting standard operating procedures for routine tasks, including registration processes, materials ordering, and venue setup.
  • Tracking and reporting recurring issues and frequently asked questions to inform process improvements.



Who You Are



  • You bring a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or demonstrably equivalent knowledge gained through alternative courses of study and life experience.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • You are familiar with Learning Management System (LMS) platforms.
  • You have the ability to manage training calendars, schedules, and participant tracking effectively.
  • You have the ability to balance multiple stakeholder needs with professionalism and care.
  • You communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • You have the ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.
  • You embrace a growth mindset and commit to continuous learning.
  • You adapt quickly and learn through experimentation.
  • You have the ability to achieve results independently and collaboratively.
  • You bring strong organizational and time-management skills with close attention to detail.


  • You have a valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation, and the ability to meet FamilyWise's driving record requirements. Please note that if the license was not issued in the state of Minnesota, you have 60 days after becoming a Minnesota resident in which to apply for your Minnesota driver's license or permit (not applicable for new hires living out of state).
