Title: Regional Logistics Supervisor
Location: Charleston, TN

Additional locations may include McIntosh, AL or Augusta, GA

Salary: $76,000 - $110,000
Schedule: Hybrid schedule available of up to 2 days remote per week
Relocation Available

Focus: The Regional Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing truck operations for all Olin products.

Regional Logistics Supervisor Essential Responsibilities:

  • Direct supervision of dispatchers in the region including day to day support and coaching/disciplinary actions
  • Analyze and report on regional operational and performance metrics, including but not limited to service performance, resource utilization and volume distribution between common carriers
  • Work with customer service to maintain service levels for assigned region
  • Act as focal point for transportation/distribution incidents/delays and participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action development
  • Financial management of the region including freight management, purchase order management, and invoice approval
  • Develop and lead continuous improvement projects
  • Optimize terminal footprint to support commercial strategies, while managing both terminal and transportation cost centers

Regional Logistics Supervisor Requirements:

  • Must meet one of the following educational and experience requirements:
    • High school diploma or equivalent plus 4+ years professional work experience; OR
    • Bachelor's Degree* in related field plus 2+ years professional work experience
  • Transportation and/or logistics management experience preferred; people leader experience preferred
  • Self-motivated with ability to analyze data, draw meaningful conclusions, and take actions from these conclusions
  • Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Understanding of FMCSA and DOT compliance
  • Ability to travel 10-15% and respond to after-hours calls as needed
  • Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license

*Degree must be from a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent program from an international university.
