Description

Shive-Hattery is seeking a creative Architectural Visualization Specialist with strong design and technical skills to join our team. Our visualization group works collaboratively and in-person to support our architectural and interior design teams, producing engaging renderings that contribute to the visual narrative of each project for decision making, design inspiration, and publicity. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate expertise in 3D graphics, the creation of high-quality renderings, and the ability to communicate architectural and design concepts clearly. Our visualization team members must be highly organized and able to support multiple design teams simultaneously. A passion for continuous learning, experimentation, and sharing knowledge enthusiastically is essential for this role and central to our studio culture.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education in architecture, interior design, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in architectural visualizations
  • Professional experience in an architectural or design firm is a plus
  • Strong design portfolio demonstrating knowledge of architectural visualization, graphic presentation, layout, and information design
  • Advanced post-production skills in Photoshop
  • Advanced knowledge of Sketchup and Revit
  • Advanced skills in Enscape or D5 render
  • Excellent organization skills and a proactive attitude
  • Motivated, energetic, and curious
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rigorous, and collaborative team environment

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborating closely with project and leadership teams to structure the design direction of weekly presentation materials and narrative illustrations
  • Generating design ideas
  • Presenting Real-Time models for client walkthroughs
  • Creating 3D visualizations (from concept diagrams to high-quality renderings) for presentations to clients, consultants, agencies, and public audiences
  • Researching new visualization methods
  • This is an in-person position.
