Position Summary: The Distribution Support and Technology Support Analyst provides administrative, technical, and operational support for distribution-related technology systems and fleet management. This role works closely with vendors, field personnel, and management to ensure reliable system performance, timely issue resolution, and effective deployment of distribution technologies. This position also provides data for Distribution professionals to provide key analytical and compliance guidance. Key Responsibilities:
- Administers and supports multiple distribution technology systems, including Platform Science (OBC), Lytx (cameras), and Samsara (trailer tracking), by managing user and vehicle profiles, maintaining system settings, and overseeing user access and credentials.
- Monitors system performance to proactively identify issues and coordinate resolution with vendors and distribution personnel
- Provides first line technical troubleshooting assistance to field maintenance technicians & supervisors
- Ships equipment for new trucks and replacement parts to field locations
- Manages parts inventory and maintains the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process for system components
- Downloads, compiles, and distributes Lytx video footage as requested for accident investigations & documentation
- Assists with system testing, deployment activities, and development of training materials during new code releases or system deployments.
- Documents operational events in the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system, including equipment moves, equipment updates, spill incidents and meter proving
- Responsible for maintaining accurate records for fleet equipment compliance, including: titles, permits, insurance records, overweight permits, transponders, Best Pass, and all associated regulatory requirements.
- Completes IFTA fuel tax reporting and bulk fuel reconciliation, incorporating data from all fuel information sources such as Comdata, VeederRoot, and other relevant systems.
- Reviews, evaluates, and responds to FMCSA inspections and violations, and manages related reporting to the field.
- Leads communication with the field on identified DOTrelated opportunities and other compliance matters.
- Orders and ships Driver Handbooks and pocket guides.
- Creates SOPS to address standard problems and provides actionable recommendations.
- Provides administrative support to the National Distribution department as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fleet, technology, or logistics environment
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problemsolving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence, collaborate, and build consensus to achieve operational goals
- Ability to adapt and manage effectively through change
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a team environment
- Strong multitasking, followup, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with DOT, and IFTA regulatory requirements is a plus.
