Summer Worker

Cleveland-Cliffs Steel in Rockport, IN is seeking summer help for general clean up, groundskeeping, and preparation and painting projects throughout the inside and outside of the facility.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Perform general housekeeping and clean-up inside and outside the facility
• Mow, trim, and assist with overall groundskeeping
• Ensure work areas remain safe, clean, and presentable
• Prepare surfaces and assist with painting projects
• Support basic maintenance tasks as needed
• Follow all safety procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic, self-directed, and detail oriented
• Time management skills in performing multiple projects with various team members
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively and satisfactorily complete tasks
• Keen sense of safe work behaviors, adherence to safety rules, curious and asks questions when unsure
• Available to work up to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday

Preferred Qualifications:

• Enrolled in an accredited college or technical certification program
