Responsibilities The Senior Genetic Counselor works with the Norton Medical Group Genetic Counseling Services practice. General responsibilities include:Collaborates with Norton Healthcare providers and service lines to evaluate and provide comprehensive genetic counseling to patients;Participates in all aspects of the Genetic Counseling Services including patient care, research, community outreach, and education;Provides timely documentation in electronic medical record systems and communicates results effectively to patients and referring providers as needed;Provides regular input and ideas for programmatic and personal growth and development;Participates in departmental meetings;Performs other duties as assigned.
