The Opportunity

TC Energy is seeking a driven Administrative Associate to provide comprehensive administrative support to our Safety & Technical Services Director leadership team located in the Houston, Texas office. Reporting to the Director, FRI Program Management, you will manage schedules, day-to-day needs, and provide consistent administrative coordination across multiple Directors. Your organizational skills and proactive approach will ensure smooth operations and support critical department initiatives. This role requires professionalism, sound judgment, and the ability to anticipate needs in a fast-paced environment as you deliver high-quality administrative, communication, and workflow support that enables the Directors to focus on advancing priorities.

What You'll Do

  • Handle sensitive and confidential information in a timely, trustworthy, and professional manner.

  • Manage Directors' calendars by booking appointments, making business travel arrangements, and coordinating meetings.

  • Coordinate department meetings, workshops, and events by booking rooms, arranging catering, drafting agendas, preparing materials, and documenting meeting notes.

  • Support onboarding and offboarding, access management, workspace coordination, and logistics for employees, contractors and excluded contractors.

  • Process invoices, purchase requisitions, expense reports, and budget-related documentation.

  • Screen, prioritize, and respond to communications professionally.

  • Maintain departmental documentation, project files, and shared drives.

  • Provide guidance on time reporting, travel, and training processes.

  • Prepare presentations, reports, data summaries, and executive-ready materials.

  • Act as a liaison between Directors and Administrative Associates.

  • Develop relationships and work collaboratively on tasks with leaders and administrative staff in Canada, Mexico and the U.S.

  • Coordinate daily office administrative duties (mail, deliveries, ordering supplies, etc.).

  • Perform additional administrative tasks as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or post-secondary certification in administration.

  • 6+ years of administrative experience supporting multiple leaders.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.

  • Working knowledge of SAP and Workday.

  • Strong communication skills and confidentiality.

  • Ability to manage high-volume workloads independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in administration or business.

  • Experience supporting technical or operational departments.

  • Advanced SAP/Workday experience.

  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
