Security Officer - Unarmed Hospital Overnights

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Roving Patrol in Mount Pleasant, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will complete routine rounds throughout assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls with calm, clear communication. You will assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and service-focused support while documenting observations and reporting concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, and/or perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, assisting with visitor direction and/or entry control in accordance with location requirements.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
