Job Summary:The Security and Emergency Management Program Manager (SEMPM) is responsible for creating and maintaining a comprehensive Security and Emergency Management Program across all facilities. The SEMPM ensures compliance with regulatory agencies (Joint Commission, OSHA, etc.), manages physical security risks, and oversees emergency preparedness activities, including mitigation, preparation, response, and recovery.

Required Physical Requirements: Job requires frequent (34-66% of workday) standing, walking, bending, squatting and use of arms and hands; occasional (0-33% of workday) sitting and climbing; ability to lift 35 lbs.; ability to push and pull up to 20 lbs.; auditory and visual skills to include peripheral and color determination. Mental Requirements: Possesses strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, detail oriented; ability to adapt to change, effective communication and ability to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team. Environmental Requirements and Exposure Hazards: Risk of exposure to radiation and toxic chemicals. Potential for exposure to bloodborne pathogens; must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Potential exposure to extreme temperatures.
