Job Description:
AriensCo is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager in our Brillion, WI location who will be responsible for leading global sourcing initiatives that support Ariens' strategic, financial, and operational objectives. This role focuses on identifying, developing, and managing international suppliers of completed products and contracted manufacturing partners. Success requires strong international sourcing expertise, advanced contract negotiation skills, project management capability, and exceptional communication across crossfunctional and global teams. THE DAY TO DAY... Global Sourcing Leadership
Lead sourcing strategies for purchased finished goods and contracted products across global markets Identify, assess, and onboard international suppliers that meet company requirements for quality, cost, delivery, and capacity Conduct global supply market assessments to understand cost drivers, risks, and emerging sourcing opportunities
Supplier & Contract Management
Lead negotiations for pricing, longterm agreements, supply contracts, and commercial terms Ensure contracts protect company interests, minimize risk, and align with financial targets Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring performance through metrics, audits, and business reviews Drive supplier development plans, corrective action processes, and longterm capability growth
Project Management
Manage sourcing projects from concept through implementation, ensuring crossfunctional alignment with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Product Management Lead sourcing deliverables for new product development, sourcing transitions, supplier changes, and product line introductions Develop and maintain timelines, action plans, and communication loops to support ontime project execution
CrossFunctional Communication
Serve as a key connector between global suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring clarity on technical requirements, milestones, and expectations Present sourcing strategies, updates, risks, and recommendations clearly and concisely to leadership teams Influence decisions through datadriven insights, strong business acumen, and professional communication
Cost Optimization & Risk Mitigation
Develop costreduction strategies through totalcostofownership analysis and competitive sourcing Identify and mitigate supply risks, including capacity constraints, geopolitical issues, logistics challenges, and quality concerns Evaluate regional sourcing opportunities to improve cost competitiveness, cycle times, and resilience
THE QUALIFICATIONS...
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred Minimum of 7 years of experience in international sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles Demonstrated success in complex contract negotiations and global supplier management Strong project management experience with the ability to lead crossfunctional teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executivelevel presentation abilities Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
