    This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as an Operations Supervisor in Irving, Texas with Signify. Cooper Lighting Solutions is a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.

    • Ensure the effective and cost-efficient daily operation of the warehouse by preparing shipment and delivery schedules, controlling the daily workflow and assisting employees in the completion of various tasks (i.e. schedule conflicts, employee issues, transportation issues)

    • Ensure cost efficient and maximum utilization of the warehouse space by reviewing, on a continuous basis, possible methods to reorganize inventory; Initiate process and procedure improvements resulting in higher inventory accuracy and part accountability

    • Maintain data accuracy in areas such as attendance, quality and productivity metrics as well as identify and implement any corrective actions

    • Lead efforts to control costs through inventory strategies, freight/carrier management and elimination of waste through lean strategy implementation

    • Be responsible for proper maintenance of warehouse equipment, to include forklifts, providing both preventative maintenance programs and all necessary repairs

    More about you

    While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

    • 2+ years of experience leading a team in a warehouse/distribution environment including receiving, put away, storage, pick/pack and load

    • Must be trained and/or certified as a Forklift operator (stand-up and sit down)

    • Knowledge of SAP; Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) a must

    • Warehouse start up experience/expansion a plus

    • Experience learning new WMS/TMS systems and deployment throughout warehouse/operations

    • Experienced with safety practices in a warehouse environment as well as experience with Quality, 5S and Lean practices

    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs

    This position does not offer relocation

    Salary: $61,060- $89,551based on experience level

    Bonus: target bonus opportunity5%
