More than 135 years ago, we started with core values that never go out of style: listen, learn and help businesses and individuals reach their goals. These core values shape our culture, and we were recently Great Place to Work Certified because of our outstanding workplace culture and employee experience. As well, our financial strength and stability are key reasons Forbes named us one of the Best 100 Banks in America for the ninth consecutive year.
With more than $16 billion in assets and 135 branch locations throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and California, we understand our role in the economy and take that responsibility seriously. In addition to offering a source of capital to personal banking clients and businesses of all sizes, we place a high importance on employee volunteerism and donate millions of dollars each year to community organizations.
As a Small Business Consultant, you'll play a key role in creating outstanding client experiences while supporting a full range of branch sales and service activities. You'll help clients understand our products, navigate their financial needs, and feel confident in their relationship with the bank. This is a dynamic role where every day brings opportunities to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact.

  • Conduct outbound calls, participate in networking activities, and support banking presentations.
  • Consult with clients to identify needs and recommend products and services that strengthen their banking relationship.
  • Recognize and coordinate referrals to partners across Commercial Lending, Treasury Management, Mortgage Lending, and Investment Services.
  • Engage proactively with current and prospective clients to educate, resolve issues, gather feedback, and build long-term loyalty.
  • Hold scheduled and walkin client appointments to assess needs and provide solutions.
  • Open new accounts, process account updates, answer inquiries, and resolve account issues while ensuring regulatory and policy compliance.
  • Assist in the lending process by educating clients, completing loan applications, and preparing required documentation.
  • Process routine financial transactions and balance your cash drawer with accuracy.
