Location: New Iberia, LA

Pay Rate: $9.00 per hour

Shift: 6 AM - 3 PM, Mon - Fri

No Clockwatchers. Just Movers, Stackers, and Go-Getters.

Qualifications

• Forklift or warehouse certs a plus
• Prior material handling or warehouse experience required (1 year min)
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
• Stay tough - lift 75 lbs and stay moving

Key Responsibilities

• Unload/load shipmentsfrom trucks, containers, and pallets, using manual labor or material-handling equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks).
• Inspect incoming goodsagainst packing lists or purchase orders, documenting damages, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Organize and store materials, stacking them safely and rotating stock using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) principles.
• Stage materials for deliveryto schools and administrative buildings within the district.
• Maintain inventory records, scanning/recording items entering or leaving the warehouse.
• Clean and maintain the warehouse-keep floors clear, equipment charged, and work areas safe.
