Responsibilities:

• Learn and assist with processing payroll, including reviewing timesheets, entering payroll data, and submitting payroll to third-party processors.
• Assist with maintenance of employee payroll records, including direct deposits, garnishments, and benefits deductions.
• Back up the Payroll Specialist as needed, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Support HR during onboarding of new employees, participating in orientation process.
• Assist with recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and maintaining candidate records.
• Maintain and organize personnel records and HR reports.
• Support the HR Manager in day-to-day tasks as the role evolves, including compliance tracking and employee relations.
• Provide administrative support across both departments, ensuring smooth operations and clear communication.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, HR, or a similar administrative role.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and accounting principles.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong proficiency in Accounting, Microsoft Office Suite, and HRIS systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
