Demonstrates knowledge of clinical Informatics related to clinical information systems. Responsible for directing and organizing unit/service operations to ensure patient care is delivered in a manner consistent with the philosophy/goals of the institution. The broad scope of the role includes oversight of Surgical Scheduling Department, Surgical Business Office, Pre-Operative phone calls and Surgical Scribe. Responsible for regulatory compliance, personnel management and sustaining a collaborative professional working model. Oversight of perioperative utilization, operational efficiency, performance improvement, systems developement, quality control and assurance. Interdisciplinary and interdepartmental communication and collaboration to ensure surgeon, patient and staff satisfaction. The Surgical Services Clincal Systems Manager works with Perioperative, Labor & Delivery, Endoscopy and Cath Lab leadership teams to achieve and support the goals and objectives of Bridgeport Hospital and YNHHS. Qualifications EDUCATION Bachelors degree in Business Administration preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience EXPERIENCE 2 years performance improvement experience.
