Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Specialist The Talent Acquisition Partner, reporting directly to the Director, Talent Acquisition, will play a key role in managing the end-to-end recruitment process, partnering closely with hiring managers to identify organizational/functional needs, sourcing top talent, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in talent strategy, sourcing techniques, and a passion for building strong teams that support business objectives as Arcwood seeks to grow.

  • Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
  • Performs duties related to the full talent acquisition lifecycle for exempt positions while building and maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates and business partners
  • Partners with hiring managers and business partners to understand workforce needs and develop recruitment strategies
  • Trains hiring managers on Applicant Tracking System (ATS) functionality and assists with developing job description content that is thorough, consistent and attractive to candidates
  • Administers the hiring process; provides ongoing updates for requisitions, advises hiring managers throughout and closes requisitions in a timely manner while ensuring proper documentation
  • Creates, edits and maintains online job postings to Company career site as well as external job boards such as LinkedIn, Indeed or ZipRecruiter that are in compliance with position needs and regulatory requirements
  • Utilizes job boards, social media, networking and referrals to source quality talent; identifies market trends to further develop innovative sourcing strategies
  • Maintains responsibility for data management and integrity within the ATS and other HR systems and maintains compliance with federal employment laws and internal policies and procedures
  • Utilizes understanding of business and market conditions to maintain talent pipelines at appropriate levels to accommodate current and anticipated demand based on growth and business initiatives; maintains contact with candidates whose experience aligns with potential future needs
  • Utilizes social media/networking efforts to advertise talent needs that highlight the opportunity to build and grow as well as Company culture and values
  • Identifies and initiates contact with and screens potential candidates to introduce them to current and future opportunities; reviews resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skill, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
  • Evaluates candidates to determine their competencies and qualifications and provides feedback to hiring managers
  • Creates a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers throughout the talent acquisition lifecycle by effectively communicating with all parties in a timely fashion and with a customer service orientation
  • Tracks and analyzes key recruitment metrics (e.g. time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness) and provides recommendations for improvement
  • Maintains the ability to attend local, national and on-campus career fairs and professional events to promote employer branding and business operations initiatives
  • Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization


Education

- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field (required)


Experience

  • 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced corporate environment (required)
  • In lieu of degree, 7+ years full cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced corporate environment (required)
  • Previous experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems and talent acquisition tools/job boards (required); iCIMs (preferred)
  • Previous experience passively sourcing candidates using resume databases, Boolean, and AI tools (preferred)
  • Knowledge of and experience working with affirmative action documentation and applicable data reporting (preferred)
