As an AssociateDirector, Account Development, you are accountable for commercial renewal and expansion of clients.This role will be specifically focused on Beverage Alcohol Distributors.

The individual in this role will exercise significant judgment in understanding client needs, proactively resolving issues, and mobilizing the right internal resources to address and resolve concerns across a broad and complex client portfolio. Success will require deep collaboration with Practice Area partners and Product Leadership to ensure solutions are tailored to the unique requirements of the distributor community.

This role demands aClient Obsessedmindset-someone inquisitive, vocal, and committed to uncovering andadvocating forthe distinct needs of distributor clients. A critical responsibility will be leading governance discussions that sustain engagement, strengthen client satisfaction, and unlock growth opportunities within this challenging and dynamic segment.

Key activities include account planning and sales strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial strategy and sales of NIQ's solutions as part of client contract renewals or RFPs
  • Develop commercial elements of joint business plan
  • Develop NIQ account plans & sales strategy
  • Achieve sales and strategic objectives
  • Develop strategies to win based on client segmentation and product market fit
  • Build meaningful client relationships with client stakeholders and teams
  • Represent voice of customer to internal product development, product marketing,communicationsand delivery teams
  • Lead a team of associates
  • With a high degree of urgency, uncover anddisseminateretailer,manufacturerand competitive intelligence
  • Represent NIQ externally, in thought leadership, as part of industry conferences and/or with the media
  • Work collaboratively with other product sales leads & cross functional partners, stakeholders, cross-selling and upselling, selling in of the service model, developing renewalstrategyand leading renewal / RFP process to successful outcome
Qualifications
  • 8+ years' experience in a relevant industry (CPG, consulting, sales)
  • Relevant experience with research techniques & solutions in the related industries ofConsumer PackagedGoods, Consulting, Information, Sales, Analytics or similar
  • Beverage Alcohol experience, particularly on the SaaS selling side ispreferred
  • Experience withinBevAldistributors, either directly or indirectly with a deep understanding of processes, formats, operatingrhythmsand execution is critical for this role
  • Effective in senior level communications, influencing & negotiation
  • Mission-driven and passionate about serving a purpose
  • Excellent awareness of market conditions and client business environment
  • Demonstrated record of creating and growing sales revenue year over year - Excellent sales pipeline management skills witha track recordof predictability and consistency
  • Sales team leadership
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software andDynamics
  • Familiarity with NielsenIQ tools,applicationsand platforms a plus
Additional Information

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $98,000.00 - $100,000.00. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
