Position Overview:

The Information
Technology intern will gain handson experience supporting enterprise
application development and business process automation initiatives within the
Information Technology department. This role focuses on configuring and
enhancing workflows within Microsoft
Dynamics and related platforms, with an emphasis on improving
efficiency through automation
and AIenabled solutions.

The
intern will work closely with application developers, analysts, and business
partners to understand business requirements and translate them into technical
solutions. As part of an agile development team, the intern will participate in
daily standups and other agile ceremonies, gaining exposure to modern software
development practices, collaboration techniques, and realworld application
delivery in a regulated enterprise environment. This internship is designed to provide meaningful learning opportunities,
practical technical experience, and insight into how application development
supports organizational operations and strategic goals.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in the development and configuration of workflows and applications within Microsoft Dynamics to support business processes.
  • Analyze existing manual or semiautomated processes and help identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
  • Support the use of AI and lowcode/nocode tools to automate workflows and enhance application functionality.
  • Participate in agile development activities, including daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Assist with testing, validation, and documentation of application changes and workflow automations.
  • Learn and follow established software development life cycle (SDLC) and development standards.
  • Document work performed, including workflows, logic, and user guides, to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Stay current on emerging application development, automation, and AI technologies relevant to the team's work.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned in support of the Application Development team.


Experience & Education:

  • Must be entering the junior or senior year of an accredited undergraduate program.
  • Enrolled in a degree program focused on Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher is required.
  • A professional letter of recommendation is preferred.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong
    verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with
    team members.
  • Proficiency
    in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis tools and functions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to maintain discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in basic presentation and documentation techniques.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and accountability.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to commit to the full 10-week internship program schedule.
  • Willingness to adhere to Broadway Bank's core values and maintain the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull weights or otherwise move objects weighing as much as 10 lbs. on a regular basis and/or for extended periods of time during the workday.
  • Occasional overtime or extended hours may be required.
