Job Description Shift: Mon-Fri; Night (3 PM to 3 AM) - Training will be on the day shift, which will last 6 months Shift Premium Amount: $1.00 Pay Rate: $21.00 Position Overview In this role, you will support the Blow Molding Department to produce a quality product in a safe and efficient manner. This entails completion of preventative/reactive maintenance, process troubleshooting of blow molding operations and facility equipment and identifying areas for improvement. Essential Functions & Responsibilities * Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. * Repairs and maintains equipment in accordance with operations manuals and manufacturing specifications. * Maintain gearboxes, pneumatics, conveyors, and equipment using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring. * Read machine electrical blueprints and problem-solve issues on equipment. * Inspect used parts for wear and tolerances. * Grease and lubricate equipment according to PM schedule. * Rebuild equipment and repair / replace defective parts on machinery. * Maintain logbook. * Follow all company procedures regarding GMP's and sanitation requirements. * Need to complete all PM tasks as scheduled. * Complete assigned projects independently or in team environment. * Other responsibilities and projects as assigned. Qualifications Experience: 1 year of experience working as a maintenance mechanic in a production environment, troubleshooting and repairing breakdowns, industrial experience preferred. Specific skills: Mechanical and electrical competencies, read rulers, micrometers (US and Metric) & digital metering equipment, Electrical skills and experience required. Operate fork truck and man lift according to safety regulations. Knowledge of the safe use of hand tools and small power tools. Computer skills: MS Office, Oracle, and basic computer skills.
