Here's what you'd do:

  • The Electrical Engineering Professional is responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
  • The engineering team is seeking to grow our multi-disciplined engineering team to tackle new challenges in the industry and is seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer to fill a critical role within the team.
  • The Electrical Design Engineer will be a member of a multidisciplinary engineering team to provide innovative thermal test solutions to the semiconductor industry.
  • Create electrical designs for either products or test equipment to test products within an interdisciplinary team to address complex product design, testing, and manufacturing challenges.
  • Selects electrical components, connectors, and wire gauges, and creates schematics or wire table connections to set up and run electrical testing as required to meet engineering test objectives.
  • Leads feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
  • Develops and carries out test plans, engineering analysis, and qualification testing required for production launch.
  • Responsible for failure analysis investigations and engineering evaluations.
  • Maintains product documentation (drawings and specifications) and lessons learned; produces design reports, test reports, operating manuals, and test procedures.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in serial data interfaces, SPI, I2C, RS485, UART, and USB.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • If you are a motivated and self-starting engineer interested in understanding entire systems and applying your understanding to turn concepts into great products, we are looking forward to you joining our team.
  • An internship working in a technical field.
  • Basic ability to troubleshoot electrical issues while reading an electrical schematic.
  • Ability to make wired electrical connections for signal and power connections up to 10A.
  • Ability to set up and operate electrical test equipment as required to conduct engineering testing.
  • Some experience with a PCB design tool (preferably Altium, Altium 365).
  • Comfortable with standard lab equipment.
  • DMM, oscilloscope, signal generators, soldering equipment, and high-power supply (up to 50A).
  • Ability to write firmware to validate hardware design, C/C++, or Python.
  • Team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Good communication skills, oral, written, and presentation.
  • Good organization, planning, and time management skills to achieve results.
  • Good personal and professional ethical values and integrity
  • Holds self-accountable for achieving goals and standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Good interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including suppliers and external customers.
