About The Position

The Efficient Electrification Innovation Manager is responsible for leading and directing the collaboration, development, and execution of Ameren's efficient electrification strategies that drive the clean energy transition. This position will also bring together Ameren Missouri, Ameren Illinois, and Ameren Transmission to promote synergies needed to achieve Ameren's overall electrification strategy. This position will ensure Ameren strategically collaborates with industry leaders (Peers, EPRI, EEI, ATE, EIP, etc.) to drive incremental growth within the electrification program that benefits the organization and our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Marshal the development and execution of cross-segment strategies for Efficient Electrification programs.

  • Build and leverage strategic partnerships with stakeholders (Peers, EPRI, EEI, ATE, EIP, etc.). Leverage R&D and best practices to promote industry-leading communications and training opportunities to advance Ameren efficient electrification success.

  • Develop and lead strategies and tactics to collaboratively engage prospective electrification customers, understand their needs, and drive a vision for mutually beneficial success.

  • Facilitate innovative partnerships with select customers and use results to drive standards, policy enhancements, and growth.

  • Continuously evaluate external business and regulatory environment and emerging technologies to improve the efficient electrification strategy.

  • Drive the collaboration of Ameren segments by providing strategic guidance based on electrification opportunities and input from current and potential customers.

  • Lead cross-segment discussions to leverage knowledge to continuously evaluate and improve electrification processes and growth.

  • Develop, monitor, record, and report on customer/segment strategies and performance metrics and work with internal and external stakeholders to modify plans as needed.

  • Advise business groups by providing strategic direction to initiative prioritization, integration, and resource application.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or other technical or business degree from an accredited college or university required.

  • Seven (7) or more years supervisory or project management experience required.

  • Proven leadership skills, especially influencing and leading across segments of the organization and promoting new technologies.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Technical aptitude for understanding and explaining end-user technologies preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proven poise, presentation, and negotiation skills suitable to all levels from junior staff to senior executives.

  • Ability to build relationships with leaders to promote consensus and accomplish objectives.

  • Demonstrated ability to consistently exercise good judgment and develop an appropriate course of action.

  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Additional Information:

Ameren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.

Compensation Range:

$131,900.00 - $204,400.00

At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
