The Quality Assurance Representative is responsible to verify the product quality of our machines and evaluate the supplier delivery quality. The QAR can demand and coordinate additional activities to ensure fulfillment of the TQS. Additionally, the QAR authorizes the product delivery from the production unit to the process or end customer.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

  • Investigate and address quality issues: root cause, corrective and preventive actions

  • Coordinate material disposition of non-conforming product: rework, replacement, acceptance under deviations etc.

  • Perform inspections of materials in accordance with drawings and standards

  • Daily interfacing with internal departments and suppliers

  • Perform Final Inspections of finished machines

  • Implement and further improve measures regarding quality assurance

  • Systematically follow-up on quality problems to ensure verification of effectiveness (internally and with suppliers)

  • Responsible to escalate issues if no adequate or effective measures are initiated

  • Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Experience

Minimum two years' experience in quality control in the parts/components manufacturing field. Ability to read and interpret drawings, detailed knowledge of GD&T. Experience with measuring equipment and detailed knowledge of inspection techniques. Good inter-personal skills, attention to details, organizational skills in fast paced environment and ability to use a computer and standard software packages (MS Office) required. Must be able to effectively work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.

Education

Two-year technical degree or suitable combination of education and work experience required.
