Overview

Develops and leads initiatives to enhance employee engagement, foster a positive company culture and support OneBlood's vision and values.

***This position can be located in St. Petersburg, Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale or Charlotte***



Responsibilities

    Designs and implements employee engagement strategies that align with company goals and promote a positive work environment
  • Manages day-to-day performance of assigned staff; ensuring hiring, performance planning, coaching and evaluations occur
  • Establishes and manages employee surveys, ambassador groups and other feedback mechanisms; analyzes results and presents recommendations to leadership
  • Develops and manages recognition and reward programs to celebrate employee achievements and milestones
  • Coordinates with internal communication teams to keep employees informed and engaged in company goals and events
  • Organizes company events, town halls, team-building activities and other events to boost morale and foster team collaboration
  • Develops project proposals, charters, progress reports, requests for proposal responses, grant applications and other documents and presentations
  • Provides analytical and project management support; directs, coordinates and reviews all deliverables specified by employee engagement projects while managing the day-today operational and tactical aspects
  • Monitors industry trends and employee engagement best practices to make informed recommendations and improve programs.


Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Business Management or other related field from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS:

Project Management Institute certification preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to organize work for timely completion
  • Ability to delegate, manage and supervise effectively
  • Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing at all levels both inside and outside of the organization
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with all levels both inside and outside of the organization
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong analytical skills with consultative approach in resolving complex issues
  • Ability to write general business correspondence and prepare executive-level presentations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
  • Ability to commute with personal transportation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (up to 20 pounds).
