Summary

The Recruiter is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting for all positions within Covius. Identifies, deploys, and executes effective staffing strategies in partnership with all levels of leadership and Human Resources team to identify and secure new talent. Effectively manages new hire process from requisition through offer and background check.

***This is a hybrid opportunity, located in Madison Heights, Michigan and requires two days in office.***

Essential Functions

  • Identify, deploy, and execute effective strategies to secure high quality hires

  • Develop partnerships with hiring managers and hiring teams to ensure consistent and high-quality hiring practices and execution

  • Understands business needs and position requirements and develops process to support identification within candidate pool, including sourcing of passive candidates

  • Create and manage a pipeline of highly qualified candidates for critical and revenue generating positions ready for deployment on short notice

  • Identifies and creates appropriate support material for interview process, including criteria based behavioral questions, evaluation matrix, etc. Provides interview and selection training as necessary

  • Educate and develop managers skills in equitable and valid hiring practices

  • Manages the negotiation and agreement of offers and the candidate experience through pre-hire to onboarding

  • Create and provide recruitment activity reports via ATS and effective metrics and KPI to evaluate success

  • Manages candidate through applicant tracking system, assigning status and disposition updates as necessary

  • Effectively follows up with all candidates on status and outcome of candidacy

  • Works within established standard operating procedures for recruitment team and makes recommendations for changes as necessary.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

.Essential Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Ability to effectively manage applicant tracking system capabilities

  • Proactive; follow through reliably, works with a sense of urgency and prioritizes effectively

  • Experience obtaining and deploying resources necessary to execute priority initiatives

  • Maintain knowledge of HR policies, programs, laws and issues

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Detail oriented, able to remain organized in high, fast paced environment

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Commitment and ability to cultivate a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Experience

  • 5+ years of agency or in house recruitment experience

  • Diverse experiences managing a range of administrative areas of responsibility

  • Experience deploying diversity and inclusion recruitment strategies

Education

  • Human Resources or Recruitment certification preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Compensation: $36.05/ hour- 40.86/ hourly

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a climate controlled indoor administrative office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, depending upon the office or meeting location.

Physical Demands and Activities

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to communicate. The employee frequently is required to remain stationary. The employee is occasionally is required to move about the office, operate a computer and other office machinery, such as calculator, copy machine, and computer printer; rarely position self to maintain files; rarely moves boxes weighing up to 10 lbs. Close and distance observation required with ability to observe objects at close range in presence of glare or bright lighting (e.g., computer screen). Must possess the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand and have the ability to interact with external and internal stakeholders.
