Description

Starkey is hiring a Financial Analyst II to join our team at our corporate headquarters in Eden Prairie, MN. In this role, you'll go beyond the numbers, analyzing and communicating financial performance, supporting strategic decisions, and partnering closely with business leaders to drive impact. This position plays a key role supporting Commercial business in budgeting, forecasting, and continuous process improvement.

What You'll Do



  • Support the monthly and quarterly close processes for the Commercial business, including review of transactions, identifying accruals and journal entries.
  • Analyze financial and operational metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide insightful variance analysis that tells the story behind the numbers, including impact on revenue from product mix, customer mix and seasonality.
  • Turn financial data into clear, actionable insights by analyzing and communicating financial performance and key drivers.
  • Develop, enhance and maintain strong knowledge of financial reporting tools, data sources, systems and models to support data driven decisions.
  • Lead key components of the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, helping shape financial plans that align with business strategy.
  • Provide financial analysis and decision support for operational and strategic initiatives through close collaboration with cross functional stakeholders.
  • Become a trusted finance partner to Commercial business leaders by delivering insights that inform strategic and operational decisionmaking.



What You'll Bring

Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting


Experience



  • 2-4 years of related experience


Knowledge & Technical Skills



  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with P&L analysis and financial performance evaluation
  • Proficiency with major ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, D365)
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred
  • Understanding of business operations and financial planning processes

Salary and Other Compensation:

The target pay rate for this position is between $64,680 - $88,200 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include: geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is eligible for a bonus based upon performance results. There is no guarantee of payout.
