Overview Element has an opportunity for an experienced multisite Quality Manager at our Element ANAHEIM, LAX testing laboratory. Reporting to the General Manager, you are an essential member of the management team and responsible for the overall quality performance. This includes the Element Quality Management System (QMS), Prime approvals, improving First Time Right (FTR), maintaining and developing relationships with Aerospace Primes and customers and improving processes. The successful candidate will have a sound working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and requirements in relation to materials testing. Direct experience in the Aerospace industry and Nadcap for Materials testing is preferable. In this role, you will have interaction with clients, accreditation bodies and Primes and will be responsible for advising operational colleagues of the importance of quality, accuracy and integrity in the provision of the inspection and testing services we provide. You will be responsible for leading quality at a local level and will work closely with the Aerospace & Energy Business Unit Quality Managers to ensure that Element quality policies, processes and procedures are effectively implemented, maintained and improved. As a quality leader within Element, you will be capable of driving a culture of quality, continuous improvement and working closely with your operational colleagues and the wider Element quality community. Salary: $100,000 - $130,000/yr DOE Responsibilities * Implementation, maintenance and scope extensions of all accreditations such as ISO/IEC 17025, Prime approvals and any other regulatory requirements Skills / Qualifications * Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a scientific or engineering discipline, with ideally 5 years' experience in materials testing or a related environment (e.g. manufacturing) Company Overview Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
