General Summary:

The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for managing a business-to-business team focused on selling to small-to-medium business customers over the telephone. This role maximizes revenue and meets corporate objectives on a consistent basis, while also directing and developing sales team to ensure financial and business objectives are achieved.

What You'll Do:



  • Manages a team that acquires new business customers, achieves sales quota, and meets organizational goals;
  • Maintains expertise on Company's products/services;
  • Manages sales initiatives as well as supervises related sales support programs;
  • Manages employee performance and counsels and advises to ensure compatibility, maximum effectiveness and continued growth on a constant basis;
  • Reviews records of individual and group sales and performance activities relative to business goals and objectives
  • Ensures accurate forecasts of monthly and quarterly sales numbers;
  • Partners with other business services leaders within the company to ensure positive working relationships and effective communication to ensure organizational plans are aligned with overall business objectives;
  • Manages business customer renewal pipeline;
  • Manages outbound and inbound sales call volumes;
  • Input on project management and overall installation of new sale and move/add/changes;
  • Travels to customer sites, project areas, business related events, and other Ritter Communications locations as required.


What You'll Bring:



  • Knowledge of business sales principles and practices;
  • Skill in designing and delivering effective presentations and public speaking;
  • Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner;
  • Ability to demonstrate skills in leadership;
  • Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand;
  • Ability to travel for business requirements; must possess a valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales Leadership, Marketing, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in sales management required.
  • Experience in Telecommunication and/or networking in a business environment preferred.
