Position Title: Production Operator II

Position Overview
The Production Operator I performs entry-level production activities under supervision, supporting the manufacturing process from raw material preparation to finished product packaging. This role ensures products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards while following established procedures. The position requires attention to detail, compliance with EHS policies, and the ability to work in a production environment with rotating shifts.

Primary Responsibilities
* Prepare raw materials and packaging by reviewing labels for correct weight, type, and lot/batch number before charging materials into mixers
* Operate mixers by loading raw materials according to process instructions, taking samples, unloading, and packing finished products
* Follow all production parameters, process instructions, and operating procedures
* Document process figures and results to ensure traceability and legal compliance
* Ensure initial testing and product release are completed with no deviations from specifications
* Verify the visual appearance of finished products meets HBF quality standards
* Package final products according to instructions and ensure standard quality levels
* Ensure zero labeling errors and report any issues to the Production Manager/Supervisor, taking corrective action when needed
* Maintain machinery and work areas in a clean and proper condition

Minimum Requirements
* Basic educational degree, high school diploma, or general education diploma
* 2+ years of experience as a Production Operator I or 3+ years in an industrial environment
* Knowledge of common software programs (MS Office)
* Ability to read and understand work orders, production processes, safety regulations, and quality procedures
* Availability to work in shifts
* Compliance with all legal, company, and EHS policies and procedures

Preferred Requirements
* Knowledge of chemical mixing and packaging processes
* Basic understanding of English
* Experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment
* Familiarity with quality and safety standards
* Previous experience working with production documentation

Physical Environment
* Required to stand for long periods of time
* Walk and climb stairs
* Use hands to remove or lift boxes
* Stretch and reach with arms extended
* Stoop and bend
* Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance
* Work in an environment with temperature variation, dust, smell, and noise typical of a chemical production setting
