Description

Providence is calling a Senior Project Manager, Behavioral Health, who will:



  • Partner to lead change management for large, system-wide initiatives that promote improvements in behavioral health care
  • Be accountable for managing multiple, complex projects to identify, prioritize, and achieve specified objectives on time, applying strategic thinking to balance short-term execution with long-term impact
  • Navigate and lead through complexity and uncertainty, bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to initiatives where solutions and paths forward may not be fully defined
  • Partner with clinical, operational, and technical subject matter experts, as well as leaders from across Providence, to drive complex initiatives forward while remaining attentive to operational realities and constraints within healthcare settings
  • Communicate effectively and credibly across diverse stakeholder groups, demonstrating strong presentation, facilitation, and influence skills in support of alignment and decision-making
  • Provide and track project plans, communication plans, timelines, data/dashboards, and presentations for Providence's Well Being Trust, tailoring messages and materials for clinical, operational, and executive audiences
  • Be comfortable with data, specifically clinical and financial data, to support evaluation, decision-making, and progress across projects and initiatives

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, Project Management. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 years proven track record in managing multiple complex high-profile projects simultaneously and driving towards successful results.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's Degree
  • Upon hire: PMI Certification and/or working knowledge of lean thinking concepts and methods
  • 5 years Consulting background in a high production, deadline-oriented professional work environment requiring multi-tasking, flexibility, and self-directed work.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
