Supply Chain Analyst I
POSITION PROFILE
:
Monitors and expedites the flow of parts, resources, and information required by the supply chain to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. The efficient scheduling and coordination of materials and essential services to support production and development orders. This role ensures the timely execution of work orders/jobs and purchase order requisitions/suggestions by managing both MRP and non-MRP requirements, overseeing material flow, assisting with the disposition of non-conforming materials, and maintaining system integrity. This is critical role in optimizing operations by facilitating optimizing communication across departments, monitoring performance metrics, and proactively resolving scheduling challenges. Coordinates with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions to optimize the supply chain. Identifies bottlenecks or problem areas and escalates or proposes solutions. Works with suppliers to resolve issues. May assist in the negotiation of contracts or service arrangements
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of related experience in a material Cost Estimating and Supply Chain (Aerospace preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and desire/ability to see activities through to completion
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills required for multi-faceted interactions with all levels of personnel within the organization, as well as any and all outside agents, including but not limited to; vendors, suppliers, internal and external customers, etc.
- Must be computer literate. Demonstrate proficiency using Microsoft Office suite, and expertise with the use of Excel templates, imports, shared documents, pivot tables and robust formulas.
- Experience in Supply Chain principles and concepts, purchasing insight into buying principles, negotiations, awareness of different contract types, commodity management, supplier, and performance measurement tools.
- Epicor business system experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure PO scheduled dates are current and obtainable in the system.
- Closely communicate with suppliers to maintain industry best On-Time delivery standards.
- Confer with suppliers to determine factors that affect ability to meet required schedules. Evaluate root cause and corrective action with suppliers on late delivery performance.
- Track all Purchase Orders through reports, open commitments, receiving discrepancies, returns, supplier discrepancies, and problem reports/supplier corrective action responses. Interface with receiving and accounting to resolve issues.
- Manage component shortages (including critical shortage) to resolution, lead issue resolution when products are behind schedule or at risk of being behind schedule.
- Assist in resolving procurement discrepancies and work closely with suppliers, finance, receiving and other internal departments.
- Participate and contribute to departmental and company-wide process improvements and lean initiatives.
- Prepare proposal requests consistent with the requirements of the contract for PAS.
- Data analytics: Business case evaluation and supply chain performance analysis by supporting in the reporting of supply chain/buyer/procurement weekly KPIs/Metrics reporting.
- Develop, plan, and manage work order/job schedules to meet production and development needs.
- Release purchase order requisitions/suggestions in a timely manner to maintain material flow.
- Maintain oversight of material movement from order initiation to completion.
- Anticipate program needs and expedite materials and tools for production, manufacturing and assembly operations.

- Demonstrated effective leadership and verbal/written communication skills required for interacting with all levels of personnel both internal and external to the organization
- Ability to provide employee training and development in an effective manner
- Must be computer literate. Demonstrate proficiency using Microsoft Office suite, and expertise with the use of Excel templates, imports, shared documents, pivot tables and robust formulas.
- Familiar with AS9100 and ISO standards
- Abide by all safety, quality, housekeeping and company policies/procedures to ensure compliance to all regulatory and internal system requirements
- Foster a positive and cooperative work environment through effective communication at all levels internal and external to the organization
- Actively participates in team meetings, improvement initiatives/programs, etc. to provide constructive recommendations and initiate actions to support company initiatives/goals
- Consistently demonstrate commitment to company values
- Initiatives and activities shall be brought to closure in a timely manner through effective interaction with individuals both internal and external to the Marotta organization (as required).
- Ensure work orders/jobs are scheduled with consideration of maintenance, new product development, inventory availability and capacity planning.
- Generate and communicate detailed production schedules, summarizing statuses for internal teams.
- Maintain accurate and up to date ERP system data to drive production schedules and material planning.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This job interacts both in a professional office environment and a manufacturing/machine shop environment. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, as well as environments inclusive of the appropriate eye, hearing and foot protection (as required).
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to conditions typical of a manufacturing/machine shop environment, including, but not limited to: fluids, fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, noise and vibration
- Temperature of work environment may be affected by outside/external temperatures, machining processes, etc.
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are 8 hours, Monday through Friday. Overtime and weekend work are required, as job duties demand.
- Some local travel may be expected for this position

Pay Range: $70,000 - $83,000 per year
This position is at our Parsippany, NJ office location.
