We are seeking a Forensic Restoration Counselor for our Mobile Competency Restoration Team to join our team around Penn Hills, PA. Earn $19.72/hour. This candidate must be open to community based travel to assist our clients. Position Details The Mobile Competency Forensic Restoration Counselor carries out the treatment plan developed by the behavior educator and provides updates and information to the MCR team members concerning each individual's progress toward regaining competency. The restoration counselor is responsible for providing consistent services to individuals served, assist in coordination of discharge, and post treatment services. The Forensic Restoration Counselor perform initial intakes upon assignment from supervisor/director and provide up to date information participant meetings and collects data for treatment plans and updates. This person will complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner, quickly establish treatment relationships with the individuals being served, and provide coordination with other service delivery systems as appropriate for treatment. They will participate in internal and external trainings and maintain professional relationship that align with the expectation of the criminal justice system. This role will have flexibility in program development and adjustments based on program needs and will testify/report as requested by members of the criminal justice system.
