Senior Brand Designer(s) (full-time, multiple openings) needed in Seattle, Washington to participate in conceptualization and design of brand identity, environmental, and digital projects from conception to completion, with guidance and support from our Design Director, Design Managers, Studio Director, and fellow designers. Work with a multi-disciplinary team to craft a vision and produce artwork for visual identities, branded environments, printed collateral, digital communications, and signage and wayfinding for diverse clients for multiple client deliverables at a time including several concepts with viable, appropriate design solutions. Integrate brand messaging, color, imagery, and typography into built environments using two-dimensional and three-dimensional visualization tools. Analyze and identify opportunities based on client needs and challenges that establish design criteria and KPIs that carry projects from conception through completion. Engage in demographic and market analysis and use-case development to drive brand positioning. Create presentation materials to illustrate design concepts for client presentations. Design industry-leading, award-winning branded environments that elevate our reputation in the market in a variety of industries, including tech workplace, life sciences, hospitality, food and beverage, residential, aviation, and sports. Engage in research and discovery of sustainable building materials and methods that protect people and our planet. Must have a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Graphic Design, Environmental Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field plus one (1) year of design experience (non-intern, non-fellowship) with all of the following: 1. Work experience with architectural and interior design processes and construction documentation, including scales, sections, plans, elevations, material finish schedules, and 3D visualizations; 2. Work experience in brand design, brand strategy, environmental graphic design, visual communication, print design, digital media design including managing complex projects; 3. Performing qualitative research and quantitative market analysis to generate ideas, concepts, Point of Views, and performance metrics; 4. Work experience with digital visualization tools including advanced Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, AfterEffects, Acrobat), SketchUp, Enscape, V-Ray, and CAD tools; 5. Work experience with front end coding languages including HTML, CSS and JavaScript; 6. Work experience with planning, documentation, and management of environmental graphic design, wayfinding, and signage projects in the context of the built environment; AND 7. Working knowledge of signage materials, production methods, detailing and procurement for 3D, print, or digital applications and working knowledge of architectural or interiors material finishes and building codes and methods. In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) degree in Graphic Design, Environmental Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, plus five (5) years of progressive post-bachelor's degree design experience (non-intern, non-fellowship). One (1) year of the five (5) years of progressive post-bachelor's degree design experience (non-intern, non-fellowship) must include experience with all of the following: 1. Work experience with architectural and interior design processes and construction documentation, including scales, sections, plans, elevations, material finish schedules, and 3D visualizations; 2. Work experience in brand design, brand strategy, environmental graphic design, visual communication, print design, digital media design including managing complex projects; 3. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Incidental telecommuting may apply. Standard benefits will be offered, and employees will be eligible for bonuses. The base salary range is $106,558.00 to $115,000.00, commensurate with relevant experience. | |
