Leidoswas awardedthe U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract. Leidos is seeking aDevSecOpsengineeracross AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle clouds. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experiencetomodernize a leading, global-scalemulti-cloud environmentin support of a critical mission, supporting USAF system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness.

Thisposition will behybrid remote. Candidateswillbe requiredto work onsite as needed. Preferred candidates will belocatednear Hanscom AFB (Boston, MA)or work in Huntsville, AL.

Primary ResponsibilitiesCould Include:

This individual willbe responsible fortechnical planning, design, development, integration, verification, and sustainment of secure, cloud-native systems. The individual applies systems engineering principles to hardware, software, and networked environments, supporting the full system lifecycle from requirements analysis through deployment and operational support.

• Performsystems requirements analysis, functional analysis, and requirements allocation for cloud-based and hybrid environments.

• Design, implement, and support secure CI/CD pipelines to enable automated, scalable software delivery.

• Supportthe integration ofDevSecOpspipelines across cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

• Develop,maintain, and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

• Deploy, configure, integrate, and support applications within cloud and hybrid environments.

• Assistwith the configuration, operation, and sustainment of container platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift.

• Analyzeand support system availability, scalability, performance, and resiliency across distributed cloud systems.

• Contributeto infrastructure modernization initiatives, system upgrades, and continuous improvement efforts.

• Implementand support automated security capabilities including vulnerability scanning, SAST/DAST, container security, and compliance automation.

• Monitorsystem health using logging and monitoring tools and support incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution.

• Supportverification, validation, system testing, and quality assurance activities for cloud-based solutions.

• Createandmaintaintechnical documentation, system diagrams, and operational procedures.

• Collaboratewith developers, QA, security, operations, and customer stakeholders to influence solution design, processes, and technical approaches.

• Applyand enforce establishedDevSecOpsstandards, systems engineering processes, and best practices.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor'sdegree with 4-8 years of relevant experience, orMaster'sdegree with 2-6 years of relevant experience.Additionalexperience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• InterimSecret clearancerequiredto start; ability to obtain andmaintaina Secret clearance.

• U.S.citizenshiprequired.

• CompTIASecurity+ or equivalent certification (IAT Level II).

• Strongunderstanding of systems engineering principles andDevSecOpspractices.

• Experiencesupporting or administering cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).

• Experiencewith CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Familiaritywith container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.

• Proficiencyin at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Bash, Java, Go).

• Solidunderstanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking fundamentals, and version control (Git).

• Strongcollaboration, communication, and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experiencesupporting DoD or USAF cloud environments (e.g., Cloud One, Platform One).

• Familiaritywith Zero Trust architectures and security concepts.

• Cloudprovider certifications (AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle).

• Experiencewith monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK.

• Exposureto security scanning tools, compliance frameworks, andDevSecOpsautomation.

• Industrycertifications such as CKAD, KCNA, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWSSysAdmin, AWS Advanced Networking, AWS Security, Azure Developer Associate, or Azure Solutions Architect.

• Example certificationsinclude:Industry Professional certification Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified AWSSysAdmin, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, AWS Certified Security, Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect
