Astrion has an exciting opportunity fora Coordinator IIIlocated at theRedstone Test Center, Redstone, Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL.Astrion has worked extensively with the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration where it has earned a reputation for on-time delivery of high-quality products tailored to the needs of its clients.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Bachelor's Degree in project management, finance, business, engineering, or related discipline from accredited* college/university and 6 years of experience in program finance or project management, including experience developing plans, budgets and schedules to meet project requirements; providing project status with regard to funding, schedule, and milestones; providing comparative analysis for budget and actual costs; validating costs; establishing and updating forms in multiple software packages to ensure customer has complete and accurate project information at all times; coordinating administrative, financial, and logistical aspects of project management to track the cost and schedule of tests and ensuring labor and material charges are correct;
  • Must be self-motivated, dependable, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Able to provide leadership and mentoring to ECTD Test Program Integrators, Coordinators, Analysts (TCs) and Division Coordinators and Analysts (DTCs). Must be able to assign work, align team/personnel skills to projects, and facilitate standardization.
  • Able to work with staff to ensure GFEBS, ADSS, CIMS, and PMM resources are allocated and updated.
  • Possess excellent analytical and organizational skills with a commitment to customer satisfaction including attention to detail as well as supportive of process improvements.
  • Be a proficient user of MS Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, One Note, and PowerPoint), and SharePoint.
  • Must be flexible in adapting to deadlines, changing schedules, competing priorities, and unpredictable events.
  • Self-motivated and independent thinker with out-of-the-box ideasS. Citizenship is required for all applicants.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Possess, or able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Experience with U.S. Army and U.S. Army technologies, or knowledge of different types of government funding are pluses. Project Management knowledge is a prerequisite for this role
  • Experience working with executives and senior managementrequired
  • Exceptional customer relationship management highly desirable

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management role with oversight of multiple task orders or a single program and multiple staff members.
  • Responsible for all Project Management activities, including overall assignment of work, management of personnel, quality control, customer satisfaction, and performance tracking and reporting.
  • Responsible for management of resources, risk management, some contract management reporting, and management of task order leads.
  • Responsible for annual performance reviews and employee development.
  • Ensures that projects are fully controlled, that goals andobjectivesare set, responsibility is assigned, and results are documented.
  • Interfaces with Government customers, Labor representatives, TORs, and other agency representatives.
  • Participates in projects from the planning stage, providesadditionalor missing materials, and edits, organizes, and formats content for clarity, flow, and integrity.
  • Develops andfinalizesexternal and high-visibility work products for the directorate, while ensuring high quality deliverables are completed on time and with customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for assigning, scheduling, and reviewing work.
  • Disseminates policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates.
  • Provides program management support utilizing ATEC and RTC Test Management tools including ADSS-PMM, CET, VDLS, SharePoint, PRO3, and the Project Management Dashboard. Tracks and coordinates test project documentation (proposals, test plans, reports, etc.), financial status, and schedules ensuring all customers, Account. Managers, Test Engineers, and Divisions maintain situational awareness.
