Job Description




As a Security Guard - Armed Dispatch Driving Role in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional at this aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, assist with dispatch operations, and help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. This is an armed and driving post. You will provide outstanding customer service, clear communication, and support a culture built on teamwork, integrity, and care, all while upholding the high standards of Allied Universal.

What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications at the dispatch post, including radio, telephone, and electronic systems, to support security-related operations at the location.
  • Coordinate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to relay critical information and dispatch security-related resources as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining logs and records of incidents, communications, and dispatch activities in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Support emergency response activities by contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as required.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies.
  • Conduct regular checks of security-related systems and equipment within the dispatch area to help maintain operational readiness.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of three years of combined law enforcement military or security experience or possess a college degree.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be able to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
