Job Responsibilities:

  • Directs the daily operation of the vehicle check-in area by leading and coordinating the activities and the workflow of the drivers.
  • Ensures efficient lot operation by coordinating the movement of vehicles from check-in to the sale staging.
  • Provides quality service and interact with clients to resolve any problems that may occur.
  • Inspects and maintains lot operations equipment and ensures that it is functional and in good working condition.
  • Assists the Supervisors with directing the work of lot operations employees by determining work procedures, preparing work schedules, expediting the workflow, assigning duties, and monitoring work for accuracy and conformance to policies and procedures.
  • Assists Supervisors with counseling team members as necessary. Under the direction of the Supervisors, plan, monitor, and evaluate employee job performance, and assist manager in conducting performance appraisals.
  • Ensures lot vehicles are maintained and prepared for team member use.
  • Analyzes the operations tools, dashboards, and reports; maintains data and adjustments as needed.
  • Assists with employee injuries and vehicle accident investigations/reporting, root cause analysis, and provides recommendations for process and safety improvements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.


Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 7 years' experience.
  • OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 5 years' experience;
  • OR 9 years' experience in a related field
  • Strong communication and interaction skills required.
  • Competent management and excellent organizational skills required.
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license is required.


Preferred:

  • Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of AS400 systems.


Physical Demands:

  • Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
  • Regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb.
  • Medium strength. Ability to lift 1-30 pounds (light hand tools, etc.)
  • Manual dexterity, and repetitive motion tasks.
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.


Work Environment:

  • Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts hazards, electrical shock hazards, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • Moderate noise level.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.


USD 24.23 - 36.35 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly base pay rate is $24.23 - $36.35/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
