We are seeking a dedicatedRegistered Nurse (RN)for ourEmergency Department (ED)to provide rapid, high-quality care to patients experiencing acute illness or trauma. In this role, you will act quickly to stabilize patients in a fast-paced environment, leveraging the latest medical technology and a collaborative team approach. Key Responsibilities: Patient Assessment & Triage:Utilize the nursing process to perform rapid assessments and prioritize patient care based on acuity and severity of illness. Direct Patient Care:Provide direct nursing care for an assigned group of patients, integrating a standards-based framework to ensure safety and clinical excellence. Emergency Interventions:Execute life-saving treatments includingIV starts, blood transfusions, wound care, andmedication administrationaccording to physician orders and hospital protocols. Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration:Work alongside physicians, techs, and specialists to develop and implement comprehensive care plans. Documentation:Maintain accurate, timely records within theEPIC electronic charting systemto ensure continuity of care and regulatory compliance.
