Description Position Summary: Schwickert's Tecta America is seeking motivated individuals to join our team. Our HVAC-R Service/Install Technician are individuals who are skilled and wanting to grow within their career. This position involves performing HVAC-R system troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair work on commercial HVAC-R systems while providing insight and training to other technicians. *SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR UP TO A $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!* Starting pay ranges from $30-$47+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: HVAC-R system troubleshooting and repair of units. Installation of commercial HVAC-R systems, ductwork, specialty equipment and start up. Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of commercial HVAC units Ensure compliance with all applicable HVAC codes and maintain a safe work environment. On Call duties as required. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Technical school degree desired; or equivalent combination of education and experience but not required. 3-5+ years experience preferred. Ability to learn and take direction from crew foreman. Valid Driver's License. Must be EPA certified or willing to take the EPA exam within a month of starting date. NATE certification or similar, DDC/Pneumatic control experience, boilers license, and refrigeration background is desired but not required. No fear of heights. Lift 50+ lbs. Sit, stand, and climb stairs.
