If you thrive when you're busy, enjoy solving problems in real time, and like being the person who keeps everything moving, this is the role for you.
This is
not a slow, task-by-task job. You will work across multiple systems, multiple markets, and multiple accounts every day, balancing competing priorities while making confident decisions that keep campaigns on track.
What You'll Do
- Manage ROP, Preprint, and Digital insertion orders for key national advertisers across multiple markets
- Enter, track, verify, and update orders across several advertising systems simultaneously
- Attach and manage creative files and ensure everything aligns correctly to each placement
- Communicate rates, specs, impressions, availability, and deadlines to sales teams, clients, and operations
- Provide market guidance including zoning, circulation, special sections, and print and digital inventory
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, Production, and Pagination to release ads, process late changes, confirm pricing, and resolve issues
- Track down missing creative, inserts, tearsheets, affidavits, and billing discrepancies
- Keep everything accurate, compliant, and on schedule in a daily deadline environment
This Role Is a Great Fit If You...
- Enjoy working at a fast pace with constant movement and multiple priorities
- Stay calm and focused when multiple people need things at once
- Are confident making decisions and problem-solving without needing step-by-step direction
- Like working across multiple screens, programs, and accounts at the same time
- Take pride in accuracy, organization, and getting things done on time
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience with newspaper, preprint, or digital advertising including insertion orders, CPM/PCI rates, circulation, and advertiser cost calculations
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a highly collaborative, cross-trained team
- Ability to pivot quickly as priorities and requests change throughout the day
Technical Skills
- Experience with Phoenix, Ad Base, Naviga, Affinity, Portal, or DOMO is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Share Point, and One Drive required
