ChristianaCare's Outpatient Imaging Department is currently recruiting for a Full-Time (80 hours) CT Technologist to work in our Northern Delaware offices with possible rotation to CCIS locations when needed.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

* The primary function is performance of all phases of CT Scan Testing. Work is performed on outpatients in accordance with established procedures and protocols of the department and under the direction of the Radiologist.

* Perform other diagnostic imaging exams as skills permit.

* Perform clerical and scheduling duties as needed.

Shift: 7:30a.m. - 4:00p.m.

  • Weekend requirement (quarterly)

  • No holidays

Responsible for:

  • Performing CT examinations.

  • Performing X-ray examinations, as necessary.

  • Performing clerical duties, as necessary.

  • Learning to perform EKG's.

  • Superior performance in Customer Service Skills.

Job Requirements:

  • CT Technologist-experience required.

  • ARRT Registered Technologist required.

  • ARRT Advanced CT Certification required within 2 years of hire.

  • Soarian training required.

  • Excellent customer service/telephone skills required.

  • Flexibility in hours is required.

  • Flexibility in duties is required.

  • Ability to work independently.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

*Completion of ARRT registry in radiologic technology required (two-year accredited program).

*Completion of ARRT registry in CT scan required (achieved within two years of hire).

* State Licensure on Radiation Protection is required.

* An Associate's degree is required; candidates are required to obtain their Associates of Science degree (can be substituted within a related field), within three (3) years of their start date as outlined in the Education Agreement required to be signed as a condition of employment.

Hourly Pay Range: $35.39 - $56.63 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
