This position is accountable for taking care of patients and completing all clinical responsibilities. Provides multidisciplinary team coordination services to the assigned areas. Provides medical education to residents, interns and other students. The incumbent participates in or contributes to an environment to advance medical research. The incumbent provides independent judgment in diagnosis and treatment of patients, formulation of treatment plans, and direction of the interdisciplinary team in achieving the goals of the patient care plan. Providers include 2 OB/GYNs, 7 full-time CNMs and an office-based PA. Call is currently 1:4. Second call only 4-day work week Full laparoscopy equipment and da Vinci robot available in ORs. With 2 airports less than 45 minutes away, you'll have multiple access points to travel using your generous CME budget. About the hospital: Our hospital is part of the Cone Health system. ARMC is a community hospital with a level 2 nursery. We have immediate access to a level 3 nursery 18 miles away within our hospital system. In addition, Duke and UNC are both less than 40 minutes away. We have OR block times and have full laparoscopy available with 3 dedicated da Vinci robot rooms. Collegial environment in L&D, postpartum, and OR. Cooperative, non-competitive working relationship with other local OB/GYN practice.
