Position Summary Position Summary

As a People Systems Analyst, you'll play a critical role in scaling HackerOne's HR technology foundation to support a growing, global workforce. You'll partner closely with the People and Finance teams to enhance Workday and other HR systems, streamline business processes, and deliver reliable data that enables smarter, faster decisions.

This is an ideal role for someone who loves optimizing systems, solving problems with precision, and improving the employee experience through technology. As part of HackerOne's expanding People Operations team in Pune, you'll help shape a high-impact, collaborative, and AI-enabled HR operations environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Success in the People Systems Analyst role will be accomplished by delivering on the responsibilities below in alignment with the Values and Principles that define how we work at HackerOne.

  • AI-First: Explore opportunities to leverage AI-powered tools for HR process automation, reporting accuracy, and user support to improve system speed and scalability.

  • Change Agility: Support continuous system improvements, configuration updates, and new feature rollouts in Workday, adapting quickly to evolving business needs and helping others navigate change smoothly.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Maintain data integrity across systems, generate reports and dashboards that inform business and people insights, and contribute to evidence-based planning and decisions.

  • First Principles Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve HRIS issues by breaking down problems into their fundamentals-identifying root causes and implementing clear, sustainable solutions.

  • Configure, test, and maintain Workday business processes such as onboarding, compensation, and offboarding, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (People, Finance, IT) to design and document efficient workflows.

  • Develop user guides, FAQs, and change communications that improve self-service adoption and system usability.

  • Participate in projects to integrate, enhance, or extend HR systems within HackerOne's global technology stack.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of HR systems or people operations experience in a global organization.

  • 2+ years of experience working with Workday HCM, including configuration, data management, and reporting.

  • Experience with business processes, EIBs, and calculated fields within Workday.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Lever, CultureAmp, or similar HR tools.

  • Knowledge of Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, or Absence modules.

  • Familiarity with SQL, Excel, or data visualization tools.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly for non-technical audiences.
