Accountant - Data Automation Business Systems Analyst (Hybrid)

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.

This position is responsible for providing advanced technical and operational business system support within the Accounting organization. This role will be heavily involved with system support related to loan reconciliation platforms. Performs needs assessments to determine business requirements and implements functional specifications to assigned systems. Ensures that developed solutions support Bank objectives through reporting and analysis activities. May involve elements of system testing or development. Knowledge of accounting reconciliation platforms are preferred. Experience in implementing accounting reconciliations is preferred.

• Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output.
• System Support - Provides daily technical support for systems by responding to inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience. Assists in implementing recommended modifications and enhancements. May serve as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units.
• Identifying Requirements - Determines system requirements and communicates them through the use of specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Ensures compliance through monitoring and analysis.
• Reporting - Produces reports based on data analysis, user input, and system testing. Identifies patterns, discrepancies, and areas of improvement. Completes daily controls of systems.

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support

Preferred Qualifications:

• Accounting background
• Experience in financial services (banking or insurance) is a plus
• Experience with loan accounting
• Implementation of reconciliation platforms
• BlackLine Application experience
• Data validation experience
• SOX Controls experience
• SQL and Python experience
• Strong Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) skills
• Knowledge of Peoplesoft or Loan IQ is a plus

If hired in NJ, the base pay for this position is generally between $102,750 and $137,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
