Ascend Rehabilitation, LLC is an integrated health and wellness program for seniors seeking to maintain independence or recover from life-changing events. Highly trained physical, occupational and speech therapists collaborate with fitness professionals to facilitate individualized programs for optimal health outcomes. We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a full-time role to work in home health and assisted living facilities in the Central Twin Cities, Saint Louis Park/Golden Valley locations. areas.

Job Opening: Physical Therapist Assistant ( PTA )
Locations: will be providing care locally in the metro area at rehab agency sites and home care (Central Twin Cities, Saint Louis Park/Golden Valley locations.
Status: Hourly
Type: 32-40/hour per two-week pay period
Shift: Day

Responsibilities: Provides professional physical therapy services using recognized and approved techniques and appropriate professional judgment under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist. Is responsible for providing quality patient care.

Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association. Licensed in Minnesota.

Special knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations.
• Experience working with seniors in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient therapy desired
• Ability to accurately plan and carry out assignments without direct supervision.
• High level of commitment to compassionate customer service

Pay range $28.53 - $34.76/hour depending on experience
