Koch Industries in Wichita, KS, is looking for a Technical Analyst to join Koch Ag & Energy Solutions. This multifaceted role is critical to our mission of delivering innovative, reliable, and secure technology solutions that optimize operational performance and support continuous improvement. You will provide both on-site and remote desktop support, manage hardware refresh programs, administer communication systems, and lead infrastructure projects to ensure maximum uptime and cost-effective operations.

As a key technology partner, you will align IT infrastructure with business goals while embodying Koch's Principle Based Management values, including Integrity, Stewardship, Knowledge, and Transformation. Your efforts will directly contribute to a secure, high-performing, and compliant technology environment.


This role will be based at our home office in Wichita, Kansas.

You will work across functions, including operations, engineering, process control, and project management, to deliver best-in-class technology solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Provide on-site and remote desktop support including workstation setup, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and supporting user moves.
  • Manage hardware inventory, coordinate PC refresh cycles, and ensure timely upgrades to minimize downtime and control costs.
  • Lead and execute infrastructure projects, collaborating with internal teams and vendors to meet timelines and budgets.
  • Maintain and optimize site infrastructure including networks, servers, wireless systems, and end-user devices.
  • Ensure cybersecurity compliance through patching, antivirus, and vulnerability management.
  • Deliver reliable IT solutions that maximize uptime and support operational excellence.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with users and stakeholders on incident resolution, project status, and technology updates.
  • Foster a proactive, collaborative approach to IT support and infrastructure management, aligned with organizational policies and security standards.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in IT infrastructure management, desktop support, or a related technical role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for desktop hardware, software, and applications.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience supporting IT/OT environments, preferably within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional and third-party teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance and best practices.
  • Experience supporting a fast-paced commodities trading environment, preferably within the energy sector.
