This position is responsible for building and delivering automated reporting solutions that help drive operational and financial performance across Revenue Operations. The analyst for this role will partner closely with business stakeholders to identify reporting needs, build automated workflows, develop dashboards, and provide clear insights that support data-driven decision-making. This role requires technical proficiency, strong project management skills, and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.

Analysis & Technical

  • Owns the end-to-end reporting portfolio for their business lane, including intake, design, building, and deployment
  • Develops automated reporting pipelines and workflows using SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Writes SQL queries to pull, transform, and validate data across multiple data sources
  • Designs intuitive Tableau dashboards and visualizations that align with key business questions and operational decision making
  • Continuously expands technical skills and recommends new capabilities or tools that can enhance reporting automation and efficiency
  • Understands the healthcare revenue cycle and connects data trends to operational processes across billing, EDI transactions, and cash metrics

Problem Solving

  • Breaks down complex and ambiguous business problems into structured and actionable analytical approaches
  • Identifies root causes, evaluates solutions, and anticipates downstream impacts across interrelated revenue cycle processes
  • Connects reporting trends to operational or financial performance (DSO, yield, revenue, etc.)
  • Synthesizes insights into concise recommendations, clearly communicating the "so what" to stakeholders and leadership
  • Advises others on best practices for building responsible and reusable data workflows

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Serves as the reporting owner for their assigned business lane, ensuring timely delivery, prioritization, and alignment with business needs
  • Leads working sessions with stakeholders to understand requirements, refine deliverables, and drive clarity across cross-functional teams
  • Familiar with project management tools-such as JIRA-to manage reporting initiatives and track progress
  • Communicates progress, risks, and timelines proactively with partners and leaders
  • Manages time and workload effectively, balancing urgent requests with long term strategic projects
  • Support & Leadership
  • Acts as a technical and analytical resource for peers, offering support on SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, and reporting best practices
  • Shares learnings from projects, encourages efficiency improvements, and models strong ownership and follow-through
  • Provides mentorship and coaching to junior analysts, supporting skill development across the team
  • Demonstrates self-sufficiency, accountability, and a high level of initiative in pushing projects forward and delivering value to business partners

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in data analytics, information technology, engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience - Required
  • 3 to 8 year s of experience in reporting, analytics, or business intelligence roles - Required
  • Commitment to DaVita's Core Values - Required
  • Proficient in SQL, including joins, temp tables, and complex data manipulation -- Required
  • Proficient in Tableau, including dashboard design, data visualizations, and creating user-friendly reporting - Required
  • Experience with Alteryx to develop scalable, automated workflows -- Preferred
  • Experience working in healthcare analytics and/or revenue cycle operations - Preferred
  • Master's degree or Advanced Certifications in related field - Preferred

The Salary Range for the role is $69,000.00 - $105,000.00/year. If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position. New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $64,350.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $64,350.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $60,405.80/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $16.50/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $16.50/hour, Remainder of New York state: $15.50/hour Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $17.66/hour, Burien: $21.16/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour, Renton: $20.90/hour, Seattle: $20.76/hour, Tukwila: $21.10/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour
