Job Summary

The Packing Associate is responsible for accurately packing customer orders in designated packing stations using the Flagship system. This role involves verifying product details, ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage, and maintaining quality and safety standards. The position requires continuous physical activity, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve discrepancies to ensure order accuracy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Pack orders in Parcel, Pack Center, and Flex Center stations using the Flagship system.
  • Utilize packing slips to generate and print move tickets, break down materials, sort styles, verify counts, and restock warehouse locations using RF scanners.
  • Verify styles and quantities of picked materials; visually inspect products before packing.
  • Place products and protective packing materials in shipping cartons to minimize damage during transit.
  • Apply packing lists, content labels, and shipping labels as required.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies to ensure order accuracy.
  • Maintain quality workmanship and adhere to safety procedures; report unsafe conditions.
  • Perform work of equal or lower classification as needed.
  • Stand, bend, reach, lift, push, and pull continuously throughout the shift.


Job Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Dallas, TX (Active Duty Military Service members exempt from this requirement).
  • Ability to work specific hours and flexibility to work overtime based on customer demand.
  • Physical ability to perform continuous standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), pushing, and pulling.


Preferred Skills

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • One year of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Minimum six months of experience operating a forklift, cherry picker, or reach truck.
  • Previous experience with forklift and/or order picker operation.


Education

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.


Work Experience

  • Prior warehouse or material handling experience preferred.


Additional Job Details

  • Must adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain proper protective equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
