Patient Access Supervisor Location: Near Rock Hill, South Carolina (Onsite) Placement Type: Permanent - NOT a contract position Salary Range: $46,000 - $70,000 annually Employment Type: Full-Time Are you ready to take the next step in your healthcare career? We're seeking a Patient Access Supervisor for a long-term, onsite role near Rock Hill, SC. Why This Role Matters As a Patient Access Supervisor, you'll ensure smooth registration processes across multiple areas, including the Emergency Department, Admitting, Centralized Scheduling, and offsite clinics. You'll mentor staff, resolve escalated issues, and help shape policies that drive operational excellence and patient satisfaction. What You'll Do * Supervise and support a team of 25 direct reports in the Emergency Department. * Participate in on-call rotation (every 5th weekend) and work a mandatory late shift (12 PM-8 PM) one week per month. * Provide daily mentoring, training, and guidance to new hires and existing staff. * Assist with short- and long-term planning for registration processes. * Maintain positive customer service and resolve escalated issues promptly. * Enforce departmental policies and contribute to new policy development. * Monitor daily activity and prepare performance/metric reports. * Perform Patient Access functions as needed and act as part of the management team to meet operational goals. Bonus Opportunity: Eligible for up to $250 monthly bonus when team KPIs are met! What We're Looking For Must Have: * 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role within a healthcare facility (Patient Access preferred). * 4+ years in a medical facility, health insurance, or related area. * 5+ years in Patient Access (preferred). * High School Diploma or equivalent (College degree preferred). * Strong knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management and regulatory requirements. * Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills. * Proficiency with Health Care Information Systems and computer applications. Nice to Have: * 2- or 4-year degree in Business, Accounting, Medical Administration, or related field.
